Update 1.Jul - Never seen a salad
OK so today has so far been about huge breakfasts and long shopping trips. The sun was sky blue and roasting hot but I still haven't got any sun cream so my neck tan is now a super-tan. Let me tell you this though.. I have never eaten so much food in such a short space of time this past 24 hours. Last night we had an all-you-can-eat steak thing ($11) with a free buffet full of lovely stuff, then this morning we went back to the same place for an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet ($5). Loads of food, not much cost. I had a super-full english this morning followed by a stack of pancakes swimming in syrup. The roads are super-wide, the cars are super-big. The people are super-fat. The signs are super-big. The sun is super-hot. The petrol is super-cheap. A medium drink is super-sized. This post is super-finished.

Update 30.jun - 1st thoughts
we are staying in a pretty posh private detached house on one of those very american estates. It has its own private pool in the back garden which is enclosed inside a huge mesh thing which keeps the bugs out but lets the sun in. The first thing joe did when we got out of the airport was fall off a wall and bang his head on a big metal beam. We did the disney thing today and it was tons of fun actually. Had tea at wendys last night with massive portions of everything (no wonder everyone is fat or huge here). My neck is nicely tanned, just gotta work on the rest of my body now. It feels good to get away from my computer and away from the pub for a bit. The heat is a bit much at times but its still a treat. Gonna try and buy a digicam tonight i think... And maybe an iphone too even though they dont do mms or record videos i just have to have one. Im sure there will be a much improved version out in a year but i dont mind that. More updates as/when i get chance.
