I have a theory. It would seem to me that lots of people pick their nose whilst driving their car and I have an explanation for this. When you are in bed you can't pick your nose or you'll end up sleeping in a pile of dry snot the following night. You can't pick your nose whilst eating breakfast because there simply isn't enough time to do both things and once and there is chance you could end up with snot in your breakfast. You can't pick your nose at work or else your colleagues will start to bully you. You can't pick your nose in the pub or you'll be rejected by "the group" and you can't pick your nose in front of your family or they will disown you. So you ONLY remaining place to pick your nose is in your car. So crack on, pick your nose whilst driving, it is your right to do so and is the only place that you can get away with it.
