I was queueing up to pay for my food when I got a phonecall from a withheld number...

girl: is that mark?
me: yes
girl: I saw you in the evening news and on channel 4 with your strange party piece
me: ok
girl: we'd like to run a piece about your nose trumpet in the next issue, have you been approached by any other magazines?
me: nope
girl: well we actually need to run the story from a woman's point of view so have you got a girlfriend or anything who we could use for the story?

At this point it was time to pay so I told her to phone back in 2 minutes but its now been about 30 minutes and she still hasn't phoned back. She's probably gone home for the day. So in the meantime I need to find a girl angle on the story. Hannah wants nothing to do with any of this but I've heard that Chopper Dave's girlfriend has mastered the nose trumpet so I'm hoping she'll be up for doing an interview for the magazine. That should work nicely.

So if you see Dave, tell him I've got work for his missus. Probably not paid but you never know.
