There are many many conversations that happen in pubs. Usually it revolves around football, politics or sex. However, I spent about 6 hours in the pub tonight and the dominating topics of conversation were Microsoft Vs Sony and Microsoft Vs all other operating systems such as Linux, Unix, Ubuntu etc.

The part where it really kicked off was when this "geek" who was not a part of our group of friends was ear-wigging on the conversation and came striding over and said something like....

Right, I've heard enough, this is how it is... Microsoft suck, Sony rule, and I'm a genuine geek studying geekology so I must be right

I'm totally paraphrasing but those are the kind of words that came out of his mouth. Nige looked liked he was going to knock him out (not really), woody was confused about why Linux hadn't dominated the market and Scott was just happy to be there.

Anyway, it's late and I'm tired so here's a photo of the geek who invaded our conversation.
