I was in a pub quiz tonight. There were 30 questions and I only contributed an answer to one of them. The question was "what is the only land mammal that can't jump?" and I got all excited and said that it was the Sloth because it is sooooo slooooooow at moving that it couldn't possibly jump. The correct answer turned out to be elephant.

HOWEVER...

It has been recorded that sloths move too slow to jump. Plus they seldom climb down out of their trees. source link
