Elliot Smith Cover Song MP3
I was feeling inspired to record something tonight and seeing as I'd just watched an amazing Elliot Smith video of him playing at the ABC something-or-other awards I decided to choose an Elliot song. I went for "Twightlight" because it's my current favourite - it's such a tragic & emotional song. Can't beat it.

There's a couple of things that I'd definately do differently with hindsight. I'd get rid of the extra "ah-ahhh"s that I invented. I'd probably re-record the piano part because it does lose time every now and again. I really like the vocals when I listen with headphones but I find it horribly embarassing when I listen to it through speakers (even with an empty house)
